Some answers here give you a line to paste into Konsole, the app where you type commands. You don't need to understand the line; copying it exactly is enough.
- Click Copy beside the line on this page.
- Open Konsole. Press the Windows key on your keyboard, or tap the dot at the left end of the dock along the bottom of the screen. Search opens. Type Konsole and tap it.
- Paste with Ctrl + Shift + V. Ctrl + V on its own doesn't work in Konsole. Or right-click and choose Paste.
- Press Enter.
- If it asks for your password, type the one you sign in with and press Enter. Nothing shows while you type; that's normal.
- If it asks a yes-or-no question, press Enter to accept.
