Apps come from Discover, the app store. It works like the app store on a phone.
- Open Discover, the app store: its icon is in the dock. Or open Search (the Windows key), type Discover and tap it. Not there at all? See Add the app store.
- Click the search box at the top left and type the app's name, such as Steam or Spotify.
- Click the app in the results, then Install. Type your password if asked.
- When it finishes, the button says Launch. Next time, open the app from Search. Press the Windows key on your keyboard, or tap the dot at the left end of the dock along the bottom of the screen. Search opens. Type its name.
